& Be Yourself
Youth Club provides a safe space where our trained staff are always on hand for a friendly ear and advice. A place to relax, make friends, build confidence - and most importantly, have fun!
WHAT WE OFFER
Fun, friendship and the skills to thrive.
We offer a variety of fun and engaging activities for girls aged 8–13. Sessions use groupwork, discussions, arts and crafts to engage young women - as well as trips, sports and outdoor adventures to keep things exciting.
Build essential skills
Teamwork, presenting, problem-solving – skills that will help in school, friendships and life.
Feel inspired and empowered
Be encouraged to dream about the future and feel happy being your true, authentic self.
Develop confidence and self-esteem
To build positive, healthy relationships and feel good about who you are.
Reduce isolation
Make new friends in a welcoming, safe and fun environment where everyone belongs.
Improved fitness and wellbeing
Active sessions including Muay Thai boxing, cricket, tennis, walks and outdoor adventures.
WEEKLY GROUP
Youth Club Sessions
Sessions are held at the Bangladeshi Centre and use groupwork, discussions, arts and crafts to engage young women. We also visit local parks and explore Gledhow Valley Woods through orienteering.
