Shantona offers a free, culturally sensitive service tailored to the needs of each young person, through positive activities and one-to-one sessions.
We meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence.

Our goal is simple: to help young people feel valued, confident and able to achieve their future goals - without fear.

How We Help

Five ways we support young people.

Every young person is different, so support is built around what each individual needs.

Understanding healthy relationships

Helping young people recognise what a safe, respectful relationship looks like – and what isn’t okay.

Empowerment sessions

Group and individual sessions that build self-belief and help young people find their own voice.

Overcoming risk together

Working alongside each young person to understand and reduce the risks they may be facing.

One-to-one confidence support

Personal, dedicated support to help each young person feel confident and valued for who they are.

Breaking down barriers to succeed at school

Helping young people overcome the barriers that get in the way of doing well in education – so they can focus on learning, friendships and a positive future.

What is child sexual exploitation?

Child sexual exploitation (CSE) is a form of abuse where a young person is manipulated, coerced or pressured into sexual activity - often in exchange for things like attention, gifts, money or affection. It can happen to any young person, including boys, and it's never their fault. If you're worried about yourself or someone you know, our team is here to help - confidentially and without judgement.

Reaching out is the first step

A young person can refer themselves, or a parent, carer or professional can refer on their behalf.
If you're unsure, just get in touch there's no pressure and everything is confidential.
