Shantona Nursery is a voluntary/charity nursery. We offer high-quality childcare where children thrive and make excellent progress with their learning and development. We celebrate children’s culture and diversity and have an ambitious EYFS curriculum. Offering free funded nursery places 15 or 30 hours for all 3 and 4-year-olds and eligible two-year-olds.

We support children through adult lead interventions and child-initiated play. This is done through group work and one-to-one support both for play-based activity and adult lead planned learning opportunities following the EYFS curriculum. We also support children with trips and outings and provide a holistic learning environment for the children through our wonderful provisions and staff. Our nursery is open term-time only and offering morning and afternoon sessions 8.45am to 11.45am and 12.30pm – 3.30pm. We also offer flexible childcare times to working parents.

Contact us by phone, email or visit the nursery during our opening times. Registration is done by completing an admissions form. Eligibility checks are done. Support parents with stay-and-play to settle your child in.
